IMPORTANT - Remote User Security Code

For remote management of the panel and for SIA alarm communication the panel must be programmed with a remote user code.
If remote management is not  required,  the WebWay and SecureWave panel still require the remote user code to send SIA alarms. This is default to1234. The WebWay and SecureWave cannot communicate if this number does not match.
If you wish to set the user code to a number other than 1234 you will need to notify webwayone first in order for the panel to communicate or set the code manually. This is done directly on the webway unit via menu H in the in the same manner as  “Auto Take-On” which uses menu D.
For site roll outs we can pre populate the WebWay SPT with the required code. For more information on this, or  queries on the remote user security code please contact support on, 01635 231514 or  email; support@webwayone.co.uk.

IMPORTANT - HKC Log Translation to SIA (Note when testing alarms with ARC)
If any alarm or event generated by the panel is not in any of the standard tables, a default SIA message is generated with details that can be used to help choose and update the event with the correct SIA Code.
Example 1: [#1818|Nda07-07-1/ti23:01:00|YO|A Unknown System Event 5: Aux Fuse felt Panel]
Example 2: [#1818|Nda07-07-1/ti07:30:00|YO|A Unknown System Event 26: Entry Fault]
The Second example had the following SIA codes added to the system event table as DF and DR.

IMPORTANT - Remote User Security Code - version 2/3 firmware

For remote management of the panel and for SIA alarm communication the panel must be programmed with a remote user code.
If remote management is not required, the WebWay and SecureWave panel still require the remote user code to send SIA alarms. This is default to1234. The WebWay and SecureWave cannot communicate if this number does not match.
Note that Panels with firmware versions 2 or 3 do not default this to 1234. This must be set as detailed below.
For more information on this, or queries on the remote user security code please contact support on 01635 231514 or email; support@webwayone.co.uk.
